Do not have the ability to donate money or personal assets? Then give the great donation of your time and become a Friend of the Parks! The Palatine Park Foundation works closely with the Palatine Park District and community. The park district offers opportunities for volunteers to help on projects, programs and events. Volunteer hours do make a difference and can assist by reducing the need to pay employees for work thus making these opportunities happen at a low and reasonable price. Each year volunteers log more than 10,000 hours a year by helping out in various capacities. All are welcome and no experience is necessary and hours are flexible. Much time and effort is taken to match your schedule and interests with the opportunities available, or come with your own ideas! Make it a family outing, adopt a park or portion of bike trail as an employee initiative or home owner’s association project or meet requirements for community service hours!
The TREE Volunteer Program, Tremendous Results through Everyone’s Efforts, in conjunction with the Palatine Park District is a great way individual and groups to give back to the community and make the Palatine community a great place to live, play and recreate!
