Tree Program

Adopt an existing tree in one of Palatine Park District’s parks. A personalized plaque with an inscription of your choice will be placed in the ground near your selected tree. The plaque fee for the Adopt-A-Tree program is $300.

New trees can be planted in certain parks throughout the Park District. This option includes a personal discussion with a staff member to decide on the species and park location. The fee is dependent upon the type and size of tree chosen and ranges from $175-$750. There is also a $150 planting fee. A personalized plaque can be placed next to your tree for an additional $275.

Help us reforest the parks and golf course in Palatine by participating and donating to the TREE-MENDOUS campaign through the Palatine Park Foundation. All donations are tax deductible. The Emerald Ash Borer has devastated many parks in the community, as well as on the Palatine Hills Golf Course and the Park Foundation wants to green things up again.
